Stopped playing DVDs after a few months - Donald C. Whitaker - Sacramento, CA
I bought this player last summer and it worked fine at first, but after taking a few firmware updates it no longer plays my DVDs. I updated the firm ware several more times over the last six months and it still will not play any DVD. It goes from "LOAD" to "No Disk" even with DVD that are brand new right out of the shrink-wrap. Blu-ray disks play, but I noticed that it has trouble with some titles. For example, Band of Brothers skips in and out during the credits and they are unreadable on every single episode in the set. The latest update is only two weeks old and it has still not fixed the problems. I would avoid this model and probably anything similar made by Samsung.
